A common purpose ensures stability through change and a means of overriding the potentially conflicting agendas of bureaucracy. The whole should be greater than the sum of its parts. Yet in some cases the team members just seem unable to work well together and produce less than a talented individual working alone.The first stipulation is that the team must be a real team.
