Title :- Temperature versus Reaction Rate Lab
Objective:- To observe the reaction rate of an effervescent tablet with water of different temperatures.
Experimental Hypothesis :- I predict that arousal and test performance will be significantly related.
Materials :- Beaker, Hot and cold water, Thermometer, 2 Alka-Seltzer tablets, clock or stopwatch and graph paper.
Procedure :-
-1) Fill a 250 mL beaker with 150 mL of cold tap water. Add 2 ice cubes. Take the temperature of water and record it in your data table. Drop half an effervescent tablet into the water. Using the stop watch, time how long it takes for the tablet to completely react. Record the time in your data table. Rinse out the beaker.
