Exercising will not only help you lose weight, but it will also help you improve your Cardiovascular system. When I first began learning about my cardiovascular system, I wanted to see if I could really improve my Cardio in ten days. I started jogging to see what can actually improve my cardiovascular system. I found out fast that I was out of shape. I could only run a quarter of a mile before I ran out of breath, and my heartrate got too high. I decided I needed to improve my Cardio so I could live a longer life. I ran on my treadmill every day for ten days. Each day I got better and better. I was able to run farther and farther without my heart rate skyrocketing. Not only did I jog, but I also started to eat better. I ate more grains, vegetables, and fruits. I stopped eating junk food: chocolate, soda pop, and greasy foods. I didn’t think eating this healthy and running every day was going to help me, but it did! Not only am I losing weight I am also more confident and feeling happier. These exercises are in the first group because they don’t get your heart rate going as much as other exercises. Group two’s exercises are skating, aerobic dance, and skiing. Group three’s exercises are sports like basketball and volleyball. You can only use sports as an exercise if you are moving around and getting involved in the sport.( Cardiorespiratory Fitness)
Before you exercise you should know how long you need to exercise for and how many times a day. To figure out how to measure how you should exercise you use three things, frequency, duration, and intensity. Using these three things you will get the best results. Firstly, frequency is how much you exercise. If you only do two push ups or run one block it’s not going to help you improve your cardio versus doing fifty push-ups and running a mile. Secondly, duration is defined as how long you exercise for. You get better results the longer you exercise for. Thirdly, intensity is how hard you push yourself. If you barely try to exercise you aren’t going to get good results and it probably won’t help you improve. If you push yourself to keep going you will get...
