This is the biggest cause of global warming. When we cut down trees for furniture and logs along with other useful items, the carbon oxygen cycle will slowly disappear rendering us with less oxygen and more carbon dioxide every day until we soon have too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and soon the entire atmosphere itself will disappear.
The greenhouse gasses in our atmosphere play a big role in global warming. The greenhouse gases include water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and halocarbons. The greenhouse effect is a term for the effect that certain variables have on the lower atmosphere. Greenhouse gasses are trace gasses meaning that these gasses will appear and disappear from time to time. Water vapor makes up 60% of the greenhouse gasses and thus, making it the most important greenhouse gas. Greenhouse gasses keep the Earth at around 58 oF. Without them, the Earth would be at around -2 oF and the oceans would be frozen. Global warming will increase the amount of greenhouse gases leading to melting of polar ice caps, harsher environment, and countries eventually sinking and from the remains from glaciers and ice caps.
Global warming is one of the biggest problems in the world at this time. We have to act now as a group to stop it. There are many ways to help slow down global warming. We can all take small steps together and start of by reusing, reducing, and recycling. The next step we take will be to use a little bit less air conditioning and heating when possible. We will burn of less natural gas by doing this. The next step will benefit...
