This is a serious problem that has to be analyzed and highlighted from all the sides in order to have complete picture of its destruction of nature to the society in whole. Knowing the facts from the recent history and happenings that occurred, this problem is widely spread and must be taken very seriously. Unawareness of the fact how much is academic dishonesty harmful to the educational system and to the success of the future professionals is the main reason, why students are involved in academic dishonesty. Students may take the test individually or in small groups with the instructor, but at the UP particularly at the English Department we take test in small groups despite that sometimes there are many students and there is not enough space for everyone, there are some students known as cheaters and the large number of students makes it easier for them to cheat. The lack of knowledge achieved in lower educational system is a base on which cheating is being built.
Most of the students I found cheating in the exam are the ones who are too lazy or they do not want to study. Today undergraduates face number of pressure, they experience pressure from themselves, and they want to reach certain grades, because they wish for a desired position in the job market. There are some students who have the need to compete with their peers, which can lead to cheat. Students have not enough time to prepare for their exams or assignments so success becomes less achievable and cheating becomes a quick way out. Cheating is manifested in many ways and it depends in each student’s personality. For instance, students can cheat asking or giving answers whispering.
