Technology is dangerous because it leads to bad education, cybercrimes, and health issues.

Social media can be a distraction and can lower your grades. According to, “There is bound to be a reduction in students focus of attention when they are studying and at the same time trying to get involved in activities of these social sites. This often time cause a drastic reduction in their academic performance. (“NEGATIVE”). This is important because the students are getting distracted by social media and aren’t focusing on school which causes their grades to decrease. “Being addicted to social sites will turn your mind from important things like your studies to trivial ones and this will tell on your grades as you are most likely to experience a drastic drop in your grades. And it will certainly lead to bad academic performance,” according to (“NEGATIVE”). This is important because being addicted to social media or any type of technology can decrease your grades and lead to a bad future now a days if you don’t have good grades.
Getting fooled by fake people online can be a dangerous thing for young teenagers and//or other people as well. “Some of my happiest moments are the ones I spend with my husband, a few close relatives, and a handful of very good friends who know me well and like me anyway,” says Samantha Henig, “But the more I read about how social media are interfering with good old-fashioned friendship, creating virtual bonds that can’t quite take the place of real loved ones, the more I wonder just how todays 20-somethings will look back on their own lives when they’re my age.” The author implies that people on the internet may not be the people you think they are, in other words, they are different people on the internet than those who you meet face to face. There may be many problems on social networks but cyberbullying may be a major problem to people. Jenna Sweeny and Caroline Curtis state, “With the ability to communicate with your friends instantaneously, also comes the ability to communicate with people who you do not like as well. People have the ability to abuse instant communication to start a fight or bully over social networking sites. This is because they do not have to see the other person.” Jenna Sweeny and Caroline Curtis are correct because kids think nothing can happen through the internet because they aren’t talking face to face however, the kids being bullied may take it the wrong way and may attempt to harm themselves.
All sites aren’t as safe as you think they are so, if you’re a computer user you are warned for sites you think are safe. “Overall, cyberattacks were up 42% in 2012. They range from ‘hackivist’ targeting of industries such as detence to the fast-growing area of ‘ransomeware’ blackmail attempts,” Henry McDonald reports, “ but more than a third of attacks focused on small-to medium size businesses employing fewer than 500 people.” The author implies that computer users have to be aware of what can happen when going on sites they don’t know or aren’t familiar to them because they may be hacked or something else can happen. Many sites do things you do not know about so this is an alert to be careful. Henry McDonald believes, “In many cases paying through an anonymous money transfer system did not necessarily ensure an infected computer was unlocked, the company pointed out.
