I heard my alarm clock go, "Brring, Brring, Brring," as I was asleep. I pressed the snooze button to let me sleep longer. For some reason, it didn't sound again! One hour passed, and I was shaken by my maid. I woke up to hear her scream,
"ITS PET DAY, YOU NEED TO BE READY!!!"
I jumped off my bed and put on my gown for the day. I was super excited to be prepared by my makeup and hair artist, Mary. Seconds later, Mary tumbled down the halls to prep me.
She knocked on my door. I asked her politely five seconds later, "Come in, come in!" I watched as she ran in eagerly. She used all her makeup and hair products on me. She nods towards me, acknowledging she was done. "Off you go, Miss Arabella."
I walked down the halls of my castle to encounter my red, goth-like kitchen, wearing a carribean blue dress. For the first time, I finally get to see my pets again, like I always used to. When I was little, my mother and father would let me ...view middle of the document...
"HI! My name's Peter. What's yours?" said the frog.
"Why you cute little froggie. My Name's Arabella." I replied.
"Can I be your partner, Arabella?" he asked quickly.
I think that he will be a great partner! Since I have no other friends in the castle as lonely as anyone else, I think he'll be fun. But then again, I wonder what Anna will say about this. Without any more thinking whatsoever, I burst out,
"Why not you young fellow? You can stay on my shoulder wherever I'm headed! This is great! Wait till' you meet my care taker Anna!"
Anna had a huge feeling pushing against her that there was bad around, so she hunted down the house. She saw Peter and could see that he was an evil man trying to capture Arabella. When I saw her, I said,
"Don't you love my froggie, I've never seen any just as adorable as this one!"
Anna jerked my hand and took me over to a room. Finally, she put down my hand on the table and yelled,
"Don't let that man back into this house . . ."
I interrupted, "What man? It's a frog, you're so silly!"
Anna replied, "That is a person impersonating a frog that I saw in the newspaper before. You need to listen to me!"
I said, "NO! You're wrong. Peter would never do such a thing."
I ran back to my room upstairs. I took Peter along, and showed him my bedroom. He said it was so cool, and he would like to stay in my bedroom all day and night long. I let Peter stay on my couch for the night. A day later, a man appeared in my room and tried to drug me.
I yelled, "ANNA! HELP! HELP!"
Anna was luckily right outside my room sweeping the floors. She took out this magical potion and zapped it on him.
I said, "Thank you, but what are you?"
She hesitated, but went on, "I'm a witch, but a good one. I help people that are in danger."
I chuckled, "I didn't see that coming."
That afternoon, I walked back downstairs by the ledge to write in my diary. I wrote about the day, how weird it was to know that Anna was actually a witch, and how dangerous Peter was. I was happy I was overweigh it, and I know for a fact that next time I won't judge a frog by their looks so quickly.
