Friends of the U.S.Despite the United States support of allied countries most of the its allies do not support the issue of war with Iraq. Since September 11, our president George W. Bush has made it his mission to search out terrorist organizations and eliminate all funding and rouge governments that are associated with terrorist activities. After the attack on American soil, so many countries mourned the lives of the Americans that died in the senseless attacks. Most of America's allies supported the decision to go into Afghanastan and seek out terrorists and eliminate their structures. It is my belief that our allies wanted revenge for the people of their countries that died in the terrorist attacks. Countries such as Turkey, Germany, Kuwait, and the United Kingdom offered support with the war on terrorism, but fast forward one year and four months and where is the support? They do not support the very thought of war with a known country that is a breeding ground for terrorists.A country whose leader has terrorized his own people and attacked neighboring countries.Most countries that America befriended in the past were once in a state of being dominated by another country or an unwanted government structure from within. Germany for instance was liberated from a notorious leader of a powerful army. America stepped in and spoke out and said "No, not on my watch". We have trained many of our allied countries armies and are still in the practice of doing it today. When a country is in trouble the first country that they call on is The United States of America. With their arms extended and hands open wide like a helpless child and reaching for help. These are the cries of many countries that are not able to stand on their own. However, when it comes down to crunch time and to protect the freedom and safety of America's citizens some countries give America a big frown and a middle finger saying "we do not care".When a hostile country such as Iraq constantly lies to the United Nations about having nuclear weapons it becomes obvious that Iraq might use its weapons of mass destruction on any given country at any given time. It may not be today or tomorrow but maybe next month or the month after. American considers Iraq a ticking time bomb ready to explode. If one of America's allies were to be attacked by one of Iraq's supposedly nuclear weapons, again...
