How To Become A Competitive Global Citizen
Good day, ladies and gentlemen. Today I want to talk about something that concerns all of us in here and out there, all of us in the world. In the rapidly growing global community, we often find ourselves buried in the mass of classmates, colleagues, friends and strangers. So among the crowd, how can we stand out and become a competitive global citizen? The answer lies in one simple word: act. You have to A, C, T: act. Be aggressive, be constructive and be transcendent.
A stands for aggressive. Before anything, I want to ask a question. If there were three cats on the wall and one decided to jump down, how many cats are there left? Most people who think they have a basic grasp on Mathematics would say two, but actually, there are still three cats on the wall. Because having decided to do something and actually doing it are as different as chalk and cheese. As a student myself, I have often wondered why some of my peers devised daily plans, weekly plans, monthly plans and new year resolutions so intricately that every single hour has its precise event. However, they usually spend more time planning what to do than doing any of it. This is what many of us lack: the motivation to do. In this rapidly developing global community, if we don't aggressively and actively invest our efforts, we will soon be left behind. So being aggressive in your decisions, determinations and deliveries, that way you can always be a step ahead.
C stands for constructive. We know that by being aggressive, we should always be active, but...
