"I hate you!" I said as I slammed the door in her face. I sat there in my room all alone wishing I could bring my real parents back into my life.
It all started when I was five years old. My dad was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour, and told that he wouldn't live till my sixth birthday. Five years before hand my mum was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and passed away eleven days after my first birthday. I never really knew her.
My dad had three operations to try and remove the brain tumour but none of them where successful. After the third operation and chemo therapy failed Charlie Teo dad's brain surgeon told my dad that he would no longer operate on my dad's brain because the brain tumour had spread and if he was to operate my father may die on the operating table.
On the thirteenth of July 2003 my whole family arrived at my house. It was a very long and drawn out day, and one by one each member of my family went and spent some time with my father. I didn't spend much time with my dad on the day because everyone else wanted to spend some time with him. Although I knew what was going to happen I didn't fully understand that, that day would be the last day that I would ever spend with my dad.
I wasn't made to go to bed that night but after a very long day I was extremely tired so I went in and said goodnight to my dad and he said "I love...
