To What Extent Do Vkontakte Positively Assist Russian High School Students?

The Internet has become the main tool for trade, entertainment, communication, and education in the modern world. Now it is very difficult to imagine our life without this resource. One part of the Internet is a social network. Just five years ago, not many people knew of the existence of social networks , today they have become part of our lives and has become an integral part of it. Almost everyone now has their own page on the Internet. So, what is social networking? Primarily, these are sites that are designed to introduce and gather people with common interests , to give them the opportunity to communicate on various topics , upload and discuss photos and videos , add each other to friends or foes , download and listen to music , etc. One of the advantages of social networking is the ability to find long lost friends and relatives. In a word, social network is a platform, online service or web site, intended for construction, reflection and organization of social relationships, which are rendering social graphs. The first social network appeared in the west. Networks such as MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ are most popular in the world. In this research paper I want to consider the positive and negative impacts of VKontakte on Russian high school students. So, to what extent do VKontakte positively assist on Russian high school students?
Students use VKontakte in school for a variety of purposes. First of all, it helps students to communicate with other. So, they are sharing personal experiences, ideas and opinions. Also, they can share information, files and the documents which give teachers. For example, in our school, many classes have private group in vkontakte, including ours. There we communicate, discuss homework and share school news. If we do not know that we can ask each other and there anyway somebody will answer and give the information that we need.
The second advantage is that VKontakte has a large number of different groups, where you can find training lessons. These groups contain a lot of useful information, training material and advice to achieve the set goal. Each participant social networking chooses whether to join a particular resource to a particular online community. Depending on personal goals can be selected professional community services with the same interests. For instance, VKontakte is the largest in RuNet store audio, video and photographs for many academic subjects that you can listen, view and download. Groups such as "Total English", "Learn a Language", "English" and "Just English!" unites many students in Russia and Kazakhstan, while give knowledge through images, audio, etc. I believe that with the help of such groups or communities is fun and easy to learn.
