The concept of greed that has made human beings separated from their natural world where economy is considered the most important, education that promotes separation and competition, examining Darwin’s message that was mis-presented taking into account that he mentioned love many more times than survival for the fittest. All these examples he uses in the movies are aimed at making the human life better and interesting after developing his approaches.
The question on what is wrong with our world, what is right? Creates a teleological approach to some of the issues affecting humanity. Through critical thinking and analysis, from the movie, it is learnt that evils such as war, terrorism, rape, and many others are not the problems but symptoms of a larger endemic problem. Currently, humanity suffers a lot due to the underlying issues that lies in our society. Some of them being life threatening and others, leading to a disabling society. These evils are well viewed in the documentary. The movie identifies that there are many questions that remain unanswered which remains the source of suffering people go through. The fact that we suffer for many reasons is true, however, the underlying issues ought to be solved to conclude on human suffering.
There is great sense in his argument that “Until then, we are like doctors who keep prescribing medication to treat our collective nausea when what we need is the wisdom to ask ourselves what we’re ingesting in the first place that is making us all sick” from his arguments we can deduct that it is through empathy and compassion that we live better. This is possible through our heart determining our future. Developing a positive attitude is very effective in search of happiness. For example, as he travelled all over the world in search of answers from great...
