Vegetarian diet has a lot of fiber and less fat. Obesity has many consequences, so vegetarian diet is the best choice for healthy body. (Pinna, K , Rolfes, S and Whitney, E , 2009; 65).
Another advantages of vegetarian diet is keeping blood pressure and rates of hypertension in lowering level. As we mentioned above that vegetarian diet consist of little of fat and saturated fat and a lot of fiber, fruits, vegetables and soy protein. Vegetarian diet does not consist of meat, so this lowering the risk of heart disease which is significant cause of death. Animals meat include fat, saturated fat and cholesterol that leads to heart problems, while vegetarian diet has a little amount of them. Vegetarian diet includes kinds of fats hat can help in lowering heart problems like, the monounsaturated fats of olives, seeds, and nuts and the polyunsaturated fats of vegetable oils. Moreover, vegetarian can keep their blood lipids in natural levels which help preventing heart problems, because this diet contains more of fiber, antioxidant vitamins, and phytochemicals. Some vegetarians eat tofu, which is soy products. Soy products include polyunsaturated fats hat could prevent risk of heart diseases. Those who eats tofu can control their blood cholesterol and triglyceride, although most people eat foods that have same amount of energy, protein, carbohydrate, total fat, saturated fat, unsaturated fat, and fiber. Because of vegetarian diets contain fruits and vegetables, they can protect from cancer diseases. It has documented that beside lowering the risk of cancer, vegetarians diets can prevent the possibility of some kinds of cancer like colon cancer. In general, consuming more meat, and saturated fat and less vegetables leads to colon cancer, whereas consuming more vegetables, fibers and low fat can prevent colon cancer. Furthermore, meats can leads to stomach cancer. (Pinna, K , Rolfes, S and Whitney, E , 2009; 65).
Unlike meat, fish, egg and milk , plant products have lower nutrients. Though, it is essential for vegetarians to vary in their diets for keeping the efficiency of vegetarian diet. Vegetarian diet has lower amount of protein, which is the main nutrient. Vegetarians can afford their necessity of protein.
