Verizon vs. AT&T
Buying mobile phones is a stressful and expensive process. Many people often go to the web sites of phone companies to see what the deals are and what different phones they have before making their final decision on which company to go with. Two very different, but similar web sites for mobile phones include Verizon and AT&T. Both web sites are phone websites but they differ in respect to their home pages, navigation, appearance, information, and quality that they offer.
The home page is what buyers first see on the Verizon and AT&T web sites. They both have categories in which you can choose from. However, Verizon only has three categories in which you can choose from; wireless, residential, and business. Although this makes the homepage simple it doesn’t stand out to the eye of the buyer. AT&T has more options such as shop which includes shopping help, myAT&T which has billing information, and support which contains a contact us tab. These categories have drop down menus that lead you right to a next page with only one click. On the Verizon web site you have to click multiple times and that takes you to multiple pages before you get to the right page you are looking for.
Considering that Verizon and AT&T both have different categories that take you to specific needs, Verizon is much more complicated than AT&T. On the Verizon web site you have to click multiple things to get to where you want to go, AT&T however, has drop down menus which bring you right to the site you need. This makes the navigation of the site very simple.
Verizon and AT&T have very sleek web sites. They look good and appear clean to the eye. Verizon though, is very simple and blank. There are no distractions that make your eyes wonder. AT&T is different, their web site has a moving slide show that lets you see their deals and sales they have going on. This tends to be a little distracting and makes shopping difficult.
