Even though most teens just play violent videogames to have fun with friends and to relieve stress at times, I think video games lead to violence so they should stop being sold because some teens take them way too seriously and it makes some teenagers feel like they have the power to do anything they want.

The most important reason i think violent video games lead to teen violence so they should stop being sold is because it makes some teens feel like they have the power to do anything they want. A good but sad example is that a lot of shootings happen because people feel like they have all the power and can do whatever they please with it. This shows that the power from a violent video game can get to your head and lead to violence in real life. Another example that shows it makes some teens feel like they have the power to do anything they want is teens tend to throw controllers at walls or at people and that is very unnecessary and unneeded. Before violent video games were invented teenagers probably never threw controllers just because they got mad that they lost, or because they were mad that their game did not go the exact way they wanted to or planned.
Teens can also learn violence from video games just by learning that the world can be a brutal, dark, and hard place. “Brutalization” is one of the first things that trigger violence in the human brain. In violent video games learning how brutal the world can could change your whole way of thinking, it could teach you to fend for yourself and not always care what happens to other people. This proves that violent video games may cause violence because all of the violent video games show the darker side of what actually goes on in the world that you normally don't hear about. Most teens don't know about war or what happens until they start playing video games that show how awful, and terrifying war actually is.
