An increase in violent outbreaks may be linked to violent video games. There has been an increasing amount of crime in the age groups involved violent video games in some way. In turn, watching and/or participating in violent video games can increase violent behavior.
Violent outbreaks are more common with age groups that are actively participating in violent video games, or have an active role within the community of violent video games.
