This is saying that it can be transformed from one system to another as a whole, within a system and its measure does not change.Instead, the energy is being changed from one form into another. When a car engine burns gas, it is changing the fuel's chemical energy into mechanical energy and that makes the car move. Windmills change the wind's energy into mechanical energy tomake the turbines turn, which then produce electricity. This generates problems as non-renewable sources of energy production are not only exhaustible but also have various negative effects on the environment and climate, both of which have long term effects on the earth's system. Therefore the need arises to consider alternatives and to look towards greener solutions (DLIST, 2011)Renewable - Renewable sources of energy such as solar, wind, geothermal, biomass and tidal are increasingly used in face of diminishing fossil fuel resources and concerns over their impacts on the environment. While the cost of renewable energy technologies remains high, increased demand can lead to economies of scale and a wider deployment especially in developing countries where energy demand is increasing and many renewable resources are abundant.CoalPros - Coal power plants are just one of the inexpensive resources of electricity making and therefore are a practical choice among numerous developed nations.
