Why Gay Marriage Is Wrong For Georgia

Georgia and the southern United States of America has historically has always supported a Christian society. Many people in Georgia today, still believe in a Christian society to where people follow god’s word of the bible and will furthermore try to emulate as much of this lifestyle as possible. However, going by these belief systems and knowing that Georgia is predominantly a Christian state, gay marriage simply does not fit into our southern lifestyle here in Georgia. Georgians should not support gay marriage in this state because it violates the natural laws of the universe, it violates the word of god and his teachings in the bible, and it robs the children the opportunity to actually have a normal family life.

Historically, since the beginning of man-kind, relationships that have occurred in nature have always been with opposite gender. Laws of attraction and through our natural being we should be attracted to the opposite gender for the purposes of pro-creation and to raise a family. Natural law is governed by man and man knows naturally that “good is to be done and pursued, and evil is to be avoided (TFP Student Action).” Thus this quotes that mankind knows that homosexuality is against natural law. Everyone that is alive in our society today knows that everything in life has natural perspective and that some events should naturally occur. However, homosexuality is not natural in life and people need to become morally educated that way homosexuality can hence forth seize to exist in our world today. Overall, the citizens that live in Georgia have a decent prospective is what is right and wrong in our society, and by keeping a ban on gay marriage in the state we can ensure that we will preserve our community and natural values.

God and the works of Jesus Christ in Christianity have told us through scripture on many occasions why homosexuality is wrong in society. It is clearly condemned in the bible simply on the basis that it goes against god’s creation of man and women and that they were told to multiply and fertilize the world. Homosexuality does not follow this command and this is why God created both a man and a women, not two men, nor two women. By sinning in this manner towards society it brings down terrible destruction to the society’s that approve of such incandescent behaviors, this was proven by god’s judgment of Sad dam and Gomorrah. From the passage out of the book of Genesis it states “The Lord rained down sulphurous fire upon Sodom and Gomorrah. He overthrew those cities and the whole Plain, together with the inhabitants of the cities and the produce of the soil (TFP Student Action).” God punished Saddam and Gomorrah for pursing these actions and were in turn destroyed because of homosexual activity.
