Hi I’m Cade right now I’m sitting at a table afraid to stand up for myself, let me rewind. I’m 11 years old and I’m I live with my mom and two sisters. We have three dogs, two cats and one horse. As you can tell we love animals! My dad and mom split up when I was about 9-10 years old when this happened. So my dad moved to ludlow Vermont. He met a girl named Lily and they started dating. One of Lily’s friends did drop by and we talked and they had some drinks. I didn’t realize my dad was having a little too much no one did. All three of us are tackling him and having fun and he is too. So we play for a little and then we took a break. Apparently during that my dad had another drink. So when I went to tackle him i didn’t notice he was drunk and he got me into a choke hold. I was so scared at that point I didn’t know why he was being so rough and squeezing my neck so hard I was really scared. He eventually let go and I walked away scared it was like he was trying to choke me. So then his hunting buddy stopped over and diced to stay for dinner. We were having kabobs with deer meat. My dad was acting really strange. So we all sat down to eat and my dad kept glaring at me so I looked at him and asked what he said “What.” So I went on eating and he wouldn’t stop I asked him to please stop and he got crazy. He picked up one of his empty sh kabob sticks (they were the ones with a point on them) and threw one at my face. Let me tell you he was sitting right across from me the table was probably only 3 feet in diameter it was small. I said please stop I looked him in his eye and I could tell he wasn’t there at all.
