Why Reading Is Better Than Watching Television

Reading and watching television are two things I like. Reading is better than watching

television and the reason is that, when I read books, articles, news, newspapers, magazines,

etc. I always learn something no matter what it is always stays in my mind; on the other hand,

watching television is an entertainment. I can also learn from watching television, but it never

going to be the same and the reason is that, when I watch television, I know my mind is not

working, or at least not in the same way, as it works, when I read. Watching television is

completely different is just be seating there in front of the television, and I would say this is just

like having fun.

Reading leave me a lot of good things, such as learning what is going on around the

world, what our president is supporting for our country and many other good things. When I

read, it is amazing, I focus in the lecture, and it is like make a traveling. I am no physically there,

but my brain thinks I am. It is really fun when this happen, because is when I start learning what

is going on in the lecture. And then becomes easier for me to understand the rest of the lecture. I

describe reading as a traveling; even though, the body is not in movement, the brain it is and

from that traveling, I take the advantages of have a little bit from there, which means that I retain

the main idea of the lecture in my mind.

Watching television is also really good, but I see this one most probably as entertainment.

Watching television is more about have fun because every time that I watch television, I do not

really learn anything, I just watch whatever I like, or sometimes not even...
