In order to succeed, it is very important to create a ritual in every aspect of life. Taking the same steps to do something may be seen as boring, but sometimes routine is very effective in reaching goals. The professor was collecting the essays. When I happily opened the backpack to hand the essay, I discovered that it was at home inside the writing book. In the bag was the algebra book, which I did not even need that day. At that moment I felt that the world had ended for me. I was not doing so well in that class and the professor did not allow late assignments.
“Where is your homework?” The professor said.
“You would not believe what happened to me,” I replied and then explained to her. Of course, she did not believe me.
I was upset and worried, “from now on I will make a list of all my daily tasks,” I said.
This could be considerate as bad luck, but it was actually a lack of order. Complications like the one that happened to me can perfectly be avoided. It is imperative to create techniques to put tasks in sequence and avert problems like this in life.
